FREE PRENATAL EDUCATION

The White Rock-South Surrey Primary Care Network in partnership with the Peace Arch Maternity Clinic is offering free prenatal education sessions for those delivering at Peace Arch Hospital.
These sessions are provided in a two-part group format. The first session will help you prepare for labour and delivery while the second session will help you prepare for the postpartum period and bringing your baby home. These sessions will be facilitated by a maternity physician and/or registered nurses.
Upcoming sessions include:
• February 6 and 20, 2025, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• March 6 and 13, 2025, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
• April 3 and 17, 2025, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• May 1 and 15, 2025, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Sessions are offered in-person at the Centre for Active Living, 1475 Anderson Street, White Rock.

FREE ONLINE BLOOD PRESSURE EDUCATION

Approximately 22% of adults in Canada experience high blood pressure (hypertension). Effective management of your blood pressure can reduce the risk of heart disease and strokes.
Sessions are held every other month on the first Friday, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Zoom. Upcoming sessions include:
• February 7, 2025
• April 4, 2025
• June 6, 2025
• August 1, 2025
• October 3, 2025
• December 5, 2025
