Temporary environment for men and women aged 16 years and older to safely sober up, with a maximum stay of 23 hours.
A 24/7 low barrier program that addresses the immediate need for a safe and supportive environment for individuals under the influence of alcohol/drugs to sober up from their intoxication. There are 20 individual mats as well as five separate care rooms for men, women and youth.
This service provides harm reduction supplies, educates on take home Naloxone and can connect individuals with other community services along the continuum of care such as Creekside Withdrawal Management Centre.
There are two supervised consumption booths open 24 hours a day, seven days a week within the unit for clients that are registered at QC SAC and are 16-years of age or older and are seeking a safe and supervised environment to self-administer illicit drugs by intravenous, inhalation and oral means.
Clients must be not experiencing withdrawal from substances, and not require acute medical or psychiatric treatment; does not accept aggressive or combative individuals.
Free service with voluntary admission. Accepts self referrals. Wheelchair accessible. Monday to Friday; intake and program hours are 24-hours daily.
