Private pay assessments and treatment of ADHD in patients 18 and over.
Provides expert ADHD assessments, care and support in White Rock to patient 18 and older. Assessments for ADHD involve a comprehensive Psychiatric assessment and include testing to establish a cognitive profile.
Current wait times for assessment are between two and four weeks from the time a referral is received from a primary care provider such as a family doctor or a nurse practitioner. Currently only online assessments are being booked but they anticipate being able to offer in person assessments at the White Rock office by October 2024.
Cost: The psychiatric evaluation is covered by the BC Medical Services Plan. However, the assessment includes cognitive testing which is not covered. The cost for the cognitive testing is $380.
